Lucy Hernandez Gamboa, Four Injured in Alleged Drunk Driving Accident in San Antonio, TX

San Antonio, TX — April 9, 2023, Lucy Hernandez Gamboa and four others were injured in an alleged drunk driving accident on S. General McMullen Dr. in San Antonio.

According to authorities Ms. Hernandez Gamboa, a 39-year-old man, and three teenage passengers were in a Mazda Tribute attempting a left-hand turn from a private driveway to go north on S. General McMullen Dr. During this turn, an allegedly drunk driver in a southbound Ford Taurus collided with the driver side of the Mazda Tribute.

Ms. Hernandez Gamboa and the three teenagers all reportedly suffered incapacitating injuries and the 39-year-old man reportedly suffered minor injuries. All four victims were purportedly taken to a hospital. The Ford Taurus driver was said to be uninjured.

Police recommended charging the Ford Taurus driver with Driving While Intoxicated.
