Initial statements say that a 28-year-old Liberty woman and a 36-year-old woman were both in a Nissan Versa traveling southbound along Cleveland Street (Highway 321). The Nissan apparently slowed to make a left turn onto Waring. As it did so, police believe that a Honda Accord also traveling southbound failed to control speed and rear-ended the Liberty woman's Nissan.

The two women in the Nissan were both said to have incapacitating injuries due to the wreck. The Honda driver's injuries were said to be non-incapacitating. The reason for the disparity in listed injuries isn't clear at this time. Right now, further details about what caused the crash are unavailable.
