Andrew Nathaniel Englestead Killed in Tractor-Trailer Accident on I-10 in San Antonio, TX

San Antonio, TX — April 21, 2023, Andrew Englestead was fatally injured due to a semi-truck accident just before 7:00 p.m. on I-10.

Preliminary information about the crash indicates that it happened at approximately 6:54 p.m. along eastbound lanes of the interstate near F.M. 1516.

It appears from the details that 37-year-old Andrew Englestead was riding a motorcycle traveling eastbound along the I-10 service road. Ahead, authorities say that a tractor-trailer began to make a right turn off the service road into a private drive. As it did so, the motorcycle somehow crashed into the right side of one of the trailers.

Englestead sustained injuries that ultimately proved fatal as a result of the collision. No other injuries were confirmed. Details from independent witnesses have not been made clear to the public at this time. In current statements, there are no reported charges or citations. The exact factors surrounding the crash are still unconfirmed.
