Woman Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Somerset Road in San Antonio, TX

San Antonio, TX — May 10, 2023, a woman sustained injuries as the result of a pedestrian accident at around 10:45 p.m. along Somerset Road.

Investigators said that the incident took place in the area of Palo Alto Road and Southwest Military Drive.

It appears from their initial statements that a woman was walking along the roadway at the time. Details say only that she was "in the street" and did not specify whether or not she was attempting to cross the roadway. While walking, it appears a blue sedan hit the woman following a turn. The vehicle remained at the scene, police say.

The woman sustained injuries which are not currently described as life-threatening. No one else was hurt, according to reports. Right now, no charges or citations have been reported. Additional details surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
