Wesley Smith Killed in Alleged Hit-and-Run Accident on Wallisville Rd. in Harris County, TX

Harris County, TX — May 9, 2023, Wesley Smith was killed in a collision with an alleged hit-and-run driver around 11:48 p.m. on Wallisville Rd. in Harris County.

Authorities report the victim was walking on Wallisville Rd. when an allegedly damaged black pickup truck reportedly struck Mr. Smith near the center double yellow line of the road. The vehicle then allegedly drove away from the scene before authorities located it due to a second crash.

Wesley Smith was fatally injured.

Officials have not released any other details regarding this crash or any possible charges.
