Quintin Ashley Injured in 18-wheeler Accident in Gaines County, TX

Gaines County, TX — April 13, 2023, Quintin Ashley sustained injuries as the result of an 18-wheeler accident at 6:38 a.m. along U.S. Highway 385.

According to preliminary information stated by authorities, the crash happened in the area of the U.S. 385 and County Road 320 intersection.

Their initial claims say that 38-year-old Quintin Ashley was in a Kia traveling southbound along the highway. It appears that an 18-wheeler going northbound attempted to turn onto southbound lanes at a crossover. Doing so, that tractor-trailer crossed paths with Ashley's vehicle, and the car and the semi-truck collided.

Ashley had injuries which were reported to be incapacitating as a result of the collision. The truck driver had no reported injuries following the crash. No one else appeared to have been involv3ed in the wreck. Authorities alleged that the truck failed to yield the right of way, leading to the collision. They did not give any other details that can be confirmed at this time.
