Crystal Davenport, One Injured in Car Accident on Hwy. 159 in Austin County, TX

Austin County, TX — April 3, 2023, Crystal Davenport and another were injured in a car accident around 7:43 a.m. on State Highway 159 in Austin County.

Sources report the victim was eastbound in her Ford F-250 while a Chrysler 300C was westbound when the two vehicles collided head-on. Officials report the Chrysler failed to slow down with the traffic in front of it and jumped into the F-250's path in an attempt to avoid colliding with the slowing traffic.

Ms. Davenport reportedly suffered minor injuries while the Chrysler driver suffered serious injuries.

Police Recommended charging the Chrysler driver with Driving While Intoxicated.
