Ricardo Loredo Padron Killed in Work Accident in Ingleside, TX

Ingleside, TX — October 1, 2022, Ricardo Loredo Padron was fatally injured due to a workplace accident at around 1:20 p.m. along Kiewit Road.

According to preliminary details from Occupational Safety and Health Administration officials, the incident happened at 2440 Kiewit Road, just off Main Street.

OSHA officials said in a preliminary incident summary that the company associated with their investigations was Starcon International. It appears that 29-year-old Ricardo Loredo Padron was doing work on an elevated area. For reasons not specified in the summary, Padron fell from that elevated position. This resulted in Padron succumbing to fatal injuries, investigators say. They did not mention if anyone else was involved in the accident.

Right now, the OSHA summary lists two alleged violations that were said to be "serious." There is also a listed recommended penalty of $31,250. At this time, additional details regarding the fatal accident are unavailable.
