One Killed in Bicycle-Truck Accident on E. Mariposa Rd. in Stockton, CA

Stockton, CA — March 28, 2023, a bicyclist was killed in a collision with an 18-wheeler around 4:40 p.m. on E. Mariposa Rd. in Stockton.

Authorities report the cyclist and semi-truck were on E. Mariposa at the interchange with Highway 99, just south of the Mariposa overpass and north of Stagecoach Rd. when they collided. Authorities have not released which direction the victim or the semi-truck were traveling. It was purportedly raining at the time of the accident.

Officials have only reported that the victim was a 52-year-old man and that he was pronounced deceased at the accident scene.
