Vincent Dwayne Shelton Killed in Motorcycle Accident in Fort Worth, TX

Fort Worth, TX — April 5, 2023, Vincent Shelton was fatally injured as the result of an accident at around 11:37 p.m. along Basswood Boulevard.

Officials with Tarrant County and the Fort Worth Police Department released preliminary details about the fatal incident. It appears to have occurred off the corner of Basswood Boulevard and Buttonwood Drive.

Preliminary statements from authorities give few specifics about what exactly happened. Right now, authorities say only that the accident occurred between a car and a motorcycle. This resulted in 22-year-old Vincent Shelton sustaining blunt force injuries, officials said.

It appears Shelton was taken to a hospital and later succumbed to those injuries. Details at this time do not list anyone else as being injured.
