One Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident on Highway 71 in Travis County, TX

Travis County, TX — April 30, 2023, one person was killed in a single-vehicle accident around 8:27 p.m. on Highway 71 in Travis County.

Sources report the victim's motorcycle crashed on Hwy. 71 just south of C.R. 406, about three miles northwest of Llano, TX. The driver suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the crash scene.

Officials have not released which direction the motorcycle was heading nor any possible factor that led up to the accident. Additionally, officials may be withholding the victim's name until the next of kin is notified.
