One Killed in Truck Accident on Route 132 in Stanislaus County, CA

Stanislaus County, CA — April 13, 2023, one person was killed in a collision with a semi-truck around 2:40 a.m. on Route 132 in Stanislaus County.

Authorities report the crash occurred on S.R. 132 in between Vernalis and Twin Rivers, CA, just west of the intersection with N. Gates Rd. This section of S.R. 132 is a two-lane highway divided by a printed yellow line.

Sources allege the victim's westbound pick-up truck collided head-on with an eastbound semi-truck with two adults and a 3-year-old inside it.

The pickup truck driver suffered fatal injuries in the accident. The two adults in the semi-truck purportedly suffered minor injuries and the 3-year-old was reportedly uninjured.

Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
