Rene Rivas-Auerbach Killed in Car Accident in Saginaw, TX

Saginaw, TX — April 9, 2023, Rene Rivas-Auerbach was killed following a car accident at around 1:45 p.m. along Bailey Boswell Road.

Preliminary details provided by authorities indicate that the incident took place near Basswood Boulevard, west of Blue Mound Road.

Initial information about the crash says that an SUV and a car traveling through the intersection somehow crashed. The exact circumstances regarding what led to the collision are still unclear. Authorities have not released additional details at this time.

Two people were said to be injured. Tarrant County officials released information which identified one of the victims as 67-year-old Rene Rivas-Auerbach of Fort Worth. Their statements indicated that Rivas-Auerbach reportedly died following transport to a hospital. The condition and identity of the other reported victim are unclear at this time. No other injuries were reported.

At this time, no further information about the car crash is available. Police have yet to identify possible factors they're examining.
