One Injured in Car Accident on 15th Street in San Angelo, TX

San Angelo, TX — April 21, 2023, at least one person was injured due to a car accident which happened early Friday along 15th Street.

Investigators said that the crash happened at the intersection of 15th Street and North Bryant Boulevard. According to preliminary statements from authorities, the crash involved three vehicles.

It appears that an eastbound Mercury was at a stop sign along 15th Street. That vehicle was crossing Bryant when northbound Mercedes SUV crashed into the Mercury. This sent the Mercury onto westbound 15th where a Chevy Silverado was stopped, and the Mercury hit the Chevy.

As a result of the crash, one person was taken from the scene with injuries of unspecified severity. No other injuries were confirmed in the initial reports It appears authorities issued a citation for failure to yield to the driver of the Mercury. Additional details regarding the cause of the crash are unavailable.
