Elias Bautista Aguilar Injured in Car Accident in Castle Hills, TX

Castle Hills, TX — April 9, 2023, Elias Bautista Aguilar was injured following a rear-end car accident at around 12:31 a.m. along Loop 410.

Initial details about the crash say that it happened in the area of Loop 410 and F.M. 2696. Preliminary information about the crash says that 29-year-old Elias Bautista Aguilar was in a Dodge Charger traveling eastbound along the main lanes of Loop 410.

While traveling on the highway, it appears that a Ford pickup failed to control speed and crashed into the back of Aguilar's vehicle. Authorities say that the pickup driver admitted to looking at their phone when the collision occurred.

Due to this collision, Aguilar sustained injuries described as incapacitating. No other injuries were reported. Authorities also said they were considering the possibility that the pickup driver may have been under the influence of alcohol. No further information can be confirmed at this time.
