One Injured in Multi-Truck Accident on I-80 in Lincoln County, NE

Lincoln County, NE — April 13, 2023, one driver was injured when two semi-truck collided around 2:30 p.m. on I-80 in Lincoln County.

According to officials, the two semi-truck collided while eastbound on I-80 about a mile northwest of Bignell, NE. Images from the crash suggest one semi-truck rear-ended the other and then overturned. Both trailers appear to have sustained significant damage and one of the loads was reportedly scattered across the lanes of traffic and the grassy median.

Officials report one driver suffered minor injuries and the other driver was uninjured. They have not released what truck the injured driver was in nor the cause of the accident.
