Jacqueline Juarez, Isela Ramos, 4 Injured in Car Accident on Loop 20 at Clark in Laredo, TX
UPDATE (May 17, 2023): Recent information released by authorities clarifies some details surrounding the crash. They said that there were six people believed to be injured due to the crash.
One was 27-year-old Jacqueline Juarez, who was in a Ford F-150 with two children. One of the children was said to have incapacitating injuries while Juarez and the other child reportedly had non-incapacitating injuries.
Also said to have non-incapacitating injuries due to the wreck was 29-year-old Isela Ramos, who was identified as the driver of a Ford Explorer. The officer involved and the driver of a Dodge Charger also had reportedly non-incapacitating injuries.

Right now, authorities believe that the Dodge Charger driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. That driver may face charges including Intoxication Assault. No further information can be confirmed at this time.
Laredo, TX — April 22, 2023, five people sustained injuries due to a multi-vehicle car accident at around 9:00 p.m. along Loop 20.
According to initial details provided by the Laredo Police Department, the crash took place along southbound lanes of Loop 20, north of the Clark Boulevard intersection by the Conn's appliance store.
Preliminary statements say that the incident began after a Dodge Charger somehow collided with an SUV. This resulted in the SUV crashing with a pickup. Details also suggest a DPS vehicle was also involved in the collision.
At least five people were said to have injuries resulting from the crash. Two of those victims were children ages 5 and 3. Others involved were identified only as a 28-year-old woman, a 36-year-old man, and a 29-year-old woman. The 29-year-old woman is apparently in serious condition, according to reports.
Right now, additional details about the cause of the crash are still under investigation.
