The details surrounding the accident are unclear at this time. The incident apparently involved a motor vehicle. 21-year-old Angelina Dawson ultimately succumbed to fatal injuries days following the crash. It's unclear if anyone else was injured. Police have not publicly confirmed any other details at this time.

It's possible authorities are having the public statements take a back seat to getting the victim's loved ones clear answers behind the scenes. I see that happen plenty, as getting the family the answers they deserve is absolutely a priority. But my concern is that sometimes a lack of public information is indicative of a lack of attention being paid to the crash. Authorities can overlook even serious, deadly accidents, and families may quickly find themselves picking up the pieces on their own if that happens. I just hope Fort Worth authorities weren't so busy they let this family slip through the cracks as I've seen happen to others in the past.
