Adults, Children Injured in Car Accident on Military Highway in Brownsville, TX
Cameron County, TX — November 18, 2022, several adults and children sustained injuries following a two vehicle car accident along Military Highway.
Investigators said that the incident happened just after 10:00 p.m. along U.S. Highway 281/Military Highway at the intersection of Alton Gloor Boulevard/FM 3248.

Authorities said that a Chrysler 200 was going southeast along Military. At the crossing, police believe that vehicle failed to yield and crashed with a Toyota Rav4. Due to this, the Chrysler driver had incapacitating injuries. The other driver and two children in that vehicle had injuries said to be non-incapacitating. Two others were in unspecified conditions.
Right now, the exact factors surrounding the crash are unconfirmed. It's easy enough for people to just assume that someone was on their phone or distracted. As common as that is, it's important not to overlook other possible factors. Even something unusual, like an issue with the traffic signals, can cause an accident. Were authorities thorough in finding out what happened here?
