Man Injured in Truck Accident on Country Club Road in Fairview, TX

Collin County, TX — March 31, 2023, a man sustained injuries as the result of an accident involving a truck along Country Club Road.

Authorities said that the incident happened just after 9:30 a.m. along Country Club Road/FM 1378 near Stacy Road/FM 2786.

Details indicate that a 31-year-old Lewisville man was in a Mitsubishi truck going northbound on Country Club Road. The vehicle lost control on the wet roads, causing the truck to run off-road. It hit a driveway, then overturned.

A 28-year-old man in the truck was said to have incapacitating injuries due to the crash. The Lewisville man was said not to be injured. No further information can be confirmed at this time.

With wet roadways, people can sometimes be quick to jump to conclusions. Even authorities may just assume the driver was going too fast for conditions. Frankly, that's the most likely explanation.
