Lufkin, TX — April 12, 2023, Jarvis Hughes and three others were injured following an accident where vehicles collided along Highway 103.

Four people were taken to area hospitals. One of them, identified in the reports as 43-year-old Jarvis Hughes, was said to have been flown to a hospital in Tyler for treatment. Additional details about injuries are unavailable at this time, and no further information can be confirmed right now without further investigations.

It's curious to me that there hasn't been more attention in the local media about this crash. Outside of the larger metropolitan areas, smaller, less populated areas tend to have news about just about everything that goes on around them. A multi-vehicle wreck with someone being flown to the hospital is usually on the radar of multiple sources. So why doesn't there seem to be equal attention paid to what happened here?
