One Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident on Bellfort in Houston, TX

Houston, TX — April 4, 2023, a driver was killed in a single-vehicle accident around 1 a.m. while eastbound on Belfort in Houston.

Authorities report a Mercedes passenger vehicle failed to pull over for a traffic stop and later authorities located the Mercedes off the roadway just south of South Wayside. The vehicle reportedly rolled over and police attempted life-saving aid.

The driver suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased after EMS arrived at the crash scene.

The reason the vehicle failed to stop and the cause of the rollover crash are still under investigation.
