Norma Linda Borjas Killed in Hit-and-run Accident in Lubbock, TX

UPDATE (November 6, 2023): According to public statements from authorities, it appears police know the name of the driver they say hit Norma Borjas and left the scene. However, there has been no confirmation of charges at this time.

Lubbock, TX — April 2, 2023, Norma Borjas was found deceased following a suspected hit-and-run accident that occurred on U.S. 62/82.

Preliminary details from Texas DPS officials say that the collision occurred sometime before 7:15 a.m. when the calls came in. Investigators said that 35-year-old Norma Borjas was on foot and on highway lanes. There, it's believed a vehicle struck her but did not stay at the scene.

According to authorities, Borjas was pronounced deceased. At this time, police don't have a description for the suspect vehicle. But the longer these details stay in the public eye, the better the chances someone is going to come forward.
