Jacob Morales Injured in Rollover Accident in Nueces County, TX

According to officials, 32-year-old Jacob Morales was in a Ford F-150 traveling northbound along the highway. Somehow, the vehicle ran off the side of the road where it then hit a pole and flipped over.

Morales had incapacitating injuries, officials say. No one else was said to be involved. The cause of the crash cannot be confirmed without further information.

I wonder if authorities were able to look into complex possible factors like tire defects, mechanical issues, road hazards, or even a hit-and-run since their initial investigations. Some people may be quick to dismiss those possibilities and just assume the driver did something wrong. That's possible, of course, but jumping to conclusions isn't going to do anyone any good. My hope is authorities in charge of this crash understand that, as well.
