Angel Luis Gonzalez Killed in Pedestrian Accident in Stephenville, TX

Preliminary information from authorities suggests that 58-year-old Angel Luis Gonzalez was walking at the time. Gonzalez appeared to be crossing northbound lanes of U.S. 377 at the time when a Chevy Camaro struck Gonzalez.

Due to the collision, Gonzalez sustained fatal injuries. Right now, additional details surrounding the collision remain unavailable.

I haven't seen much information about this horrible event, and unfortunately, that's not too surprising. The unfortunate reality is pedestrian accidents like this rarely get the attention they deserve. People tend to jump to conclusions, and in the end that only serves to further harm the victim's loved ones who deserve to know they're getting the full story. Were authorities able to get more information than they've provided to the public, or is there still more to this story that isn't getting proper attention?
