Christopher Strickland Killed in Work Accident in San Angelo, TX

San Angelo, TX — August 8, 2022, Christopher Strickiland was killed as the result of a work accident at a job site along Dena Drive.

Preliminary details about the accident indicate that it happened at around 4:00 p.m. at 2602 Dena Drive, which a search appears to show is the address for Carr Education-Fine Arts. That entity is not listed as a party to the accident investigation, which instead lists Entrenos, Inc. as the company subject to the OSHA report.

The OSHA report indicates that 31-year-old Christopher Strickland was working on sprinkler installation at the time and was digging trenches and laying pipe. It appears that Strickland lost consciousness while working due to what investigators deemed was a heat stroke. Strickland died as a result.

Currently, the OSHA investigation summary lists two alleged violations—one deemed to be "serious," and the second as "other." There is a listed recommendation for a penalty of $2,175. Additional details about potential penalties is unclear at this time.
