One Injured in Single-Vehicle Accident in Milam County, TX

Milam County, TX — February 24, 2023, a 17-year-old was injured in a single-vehicle accident around 10:43 pm. on C.R. 116 in Milam County.

Authorities report the minor's Toyota Tundra was northbound on C.R. 116 when the Tundra somehow left the roadway and struck a tree head-on. Officials report C.R. 116 is a dirt road and it had recently received lots of rain causing piles of dirt along the side of the road, however, the cause of the crash is still under investigation.

The 17-year-old reportedly suffered serious, incapacitating injuries and was transported for medical attention.
