Juan Ferrusca Mata Killed in Work Accident in Rockwall, TX

Rockwall, TX — July 23, 2022, Juan Ferrusca Mata was killed as the result of an accident where he fell while working in Rockwall.

Preliminary details from OSHA say that the incident happened at noon off the corner of Rochelle Road and Guadalupe Drive, which appears to be in the Terracina Estates neighborhood, according to Google Maps.

Authorities said that 69-year-old Juan Ferrusca Mata was dismantling scaffolding at the time on a Tracon Ventures work site. somehow, it appears Mata fell from the scaffolding, and he sustained fatal injuries as a result.

In public OSHA statements, it was alleged that there were four rule violations stemming from the investigation into this incident. The reports also show a recommended penalty of over $9,000. The current status of these allegations is unclear at this time.
