Construction Work Killed in Truck Accident in Orlando, FL

Orlando, Fl — March 13, 2023, a construction worker was killed in a collision with a truck around 12:25 a.m. at the active construction site for State Road 429 in Orlando.

Authorities report the construction worker was walking in the center lane of State Road 429 when another worker backed up a Kenworth truck and struck the pedestrian. The pedestrian worker was taken to a hospital but later succumbed to the injuries sustained in the accident.
