Woman Injured in Possible Hit-and-run Accident on 50th Street in Lubbock, TX

Lubbock, TX -- March 16, 2023, a woman was injured following an accident where a vehicle struck her, then possibly left the scene.

Preliminary details about the accident say it happened at around 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of 50th Street and Avenue Q. Details right now say only that a white car struck the woman, causing injuries. While early details describe the accident as a hit-and-run, more recent reports say that authorities "later classified it as a collision with injuries."

That's still not exactly clear regarding whether or not the driver involved here stayed at the scene.
