Brynton Bonds Killed in Truck Accident on I-10 at Lockwood in Houston, TX

UPDATE (March 20, 2023): Officials identifiede the victim in the accident as Brynton Bonds. Right now, additional details about the accident are unavailable.

Houston, TX -- March 16, 2023, one person was killed following an accident where a truck hit them along the East Freeway.

Investigators with Houston and Harris County offices say the incident happened at around 4:00 a.m. along westbound lanes near Lockwood Drive. It appears an unidentified man was walking at the time when a Mack truck somehow hit the pedestrian. Following this, another vehicle then hit the man.

The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries as a result of the accident. Right now, additional details are pending investigations. I know that a lot of people are quick to write off these pedestrian accidents, since they don't seem to be all that complicated. But it would surprise people to see just how much goes into a proper investigation, and there's no telling what unusual details could come up. I just hope authorities here understand that, as well, so the victim's loved ones can get the answers they deserve.
