Two Killed in Truck Accident in Detroit, MI

Detroit, MI — March 12, 2023, two people suffered fatal injuries in a collision with a semi-truck around 5:15 a.m. on Eight Mile Rd in Detroit.

Crash investigators report a Mercury Marauder was eastbound on Eight Mile Rd when it rear-ended a semi-truck. The collision's impact caused the Mercury Marauder to catch fire.

The two occupants of the Mercury Marauder were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and there are no further updates at this time.
