Two Minors Killed, One Minor Injured in Truck Accident in Perry, IA

Perry, IA — March 9, 2023, three siblings were involved in a serious collision with a box truck around 7:45 a.m. on Highway 141 in Perry.

Officials report the siblings were in a passenger vehicle headed eastbound while a box truck was westbound on Hwy. 141.

According to crash investigators, the two younger siblings suffered fatal injuries and the oldest suffered life-threatening injuries.

As the sibling are minors, their identities are not being released, however, officials report they are part of the Fuentes Gavidia family.

The cause of the crash needs additional investigation, and there are no further updates at this time.
