Steven Hand Killed in Truck Accident in Albemarle, NC

Albemarle, NC — March 8, 2023, Steven Hand was killed in a collision with a tractor-trailer around 8 a.m. on State Highway 73 in Albemarle.

Officials report Steven Hand's Mazda CX9 was eastbound on Hwy. 73 when the Mazda collided with a semi-truck that was also eastbound. The collision's impact reportedly sent the semi-truck off the right side of the road where it then overturned.

Steven Hand suffered fatal injuries, and the driver of the semi-truck was reportedly uninjured.
