Livingston Man Injured in Truck Accident on Antoine Drive in Houston, TX

Houston, TX -- February 28, 2023, a Livingston man was injured following an accident where a semi-truck hit him at a loading dock.

Investigators said that the accident happened at around 5:50 a.m. on a property at 5367 Antoine Drive just off Golden Forest Drive.

It appears that a 33-year-old Livingston man was "sleeping" in the area of a loading ramp. A semi-truck was backing up on the ramp when it ran over the man. As a result, that man had incapacitating injuries.

One thing authorities pointed out was that due to only one working light, the ramp was rather dark. It could be worth looking into whether or not this property has had issues related to poor visibility in the past. That may not really be important in this situation, considering the unusual nature of these events, but sometimes incidents like this can happen due to issues a property owner fails to address properly. If nothing else, it's at least worth some consideration to make sure all the facts are clear.
