Cesar Chavez Cornejo Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident in Lancaster, TX

Lancaster, TX — November 22, 2022, Cesar Chavez Cornejo was killed in a single-vehicle accident around 8:06 p.m. on I-35 East in Lancaster.

Crash investigators report Cesar Chavez Cornejo's Toyota Tacoma was northbound on I-35 East's access road when the Tacoma veered off the passenger side of the road and continued driving alongside the access road for several yards. While driving alongside the access road, the Tacoma hit roadsign, three private driveways, and a mailbox before entering into a rollover crash.

Cesar Chavez Cornejo was transported to a medical center but succumbed to the injuries sustained during the crash.

Investigators are still looking into the cause of this crash. There are no further updates at this time.
