Some may think there's nothing else to discuss, really. Tires blowout sometimes, and it just can't be avoided, right? That's often true, but not always. Tires can blowout due to poor maintenance, for example. I've seen a lot of truck drivers forced to operate vehicles in a sad state of disrepair because their employers would skip maintenance in a ridiculous attempt to cut costs. While less likely, it's also possible some sort of defect left to the tire failing despite every reasonable belief it wouldn't.
Distinguishing between these potential causes often requires unique experience and equipment to reconstruct the tire and the circumstances that led to it blowing out. Authorities don't often have access to these resources, but maybe authorities here are already working to ensure there are clear answers about what happened here.
