Angel Gavarrete Rivera Injured in Pedestrian-Car Crash in Dallas, TX

Dallas, TX — July 3, 2022, Angel Gavarrete Rivera was injured by an alleged drunk driver around 1:44 p.m. on Brookgreen Dr in Dallas.

Crash investigators report prior to the crash Angel Gavarrete Rivera was changing the tire on a Honda Civic which was parked facing westbound on Brookgreen Dr, in front of a parked F-150 also facing westbound.

A Ford F-250, driven by an allegedly drunk Jose Hernandez, was driving westbound on Brookgreen Dr when the F-250 struck the F-150, continued forward, struck the Honda Civic, and hit Angel Gavarrete Rivera.

Angel Gavarrete Rivera suffered fatal injuries, and Jose Hernandez reportedly suffered minor injuries.

Jose Hernandez was allegedly drinking at home prior to the crash.
