One Killed, One Injured in Car Accident on County Line Road near Elgin, TX

Travis County, TX -- March 11, 2023, one person was killed and another was injured following a car accident outside Elgin along County Line Road.

Preliminary information about the crash says it happened just west of Elgin along the 12200 block of County Line Road. The cause of the crash remains unclear at this time. Austin-Travis County EMS found two people trapped, and one of them ultimately succumbed to their injuries. Another person was taken to a hospital in critical condition. No further information is available at this time.

Obviously, it can take time for authorities to get clear answers about a deadly crash. But sometimes, that period of time can get longer and longer until it becomes clear authorities aren't giving the incident the attention it needs. For a family in need of answers, that's obviously unacceptable.
