Smith succumbed to fatal injuries as a result of the accident. Police did not report any charges or citations. Right now, additional details are unavailable. I can only hope there is still work being done behind the scenes to ensure the victim's loved ones are getting the full story. It unfortunately happens a lot that people overlook incidents involving pedestrians and bicyclists. But they have families in need of answers, and it's important not to leave them out in the wind. If they're only getting what little we in the public are seeing, that's simply not good enough.
