Effie Carder Killed, Gilbert Jorden Jr., 3 Minors Injured in Truck Accident in Oxford Township, OH

Oxford Township, OH — Effie Carder was killed and Gilbert Jorden Jr. and three minors were injured in a truck accident around 7:32 p.m. on the Ohio Turnpike in Oxford Township.

Crash investigators report the 5 victims were exiting a Jeep that was disabled in a traffic lane on the Ohio Turnpike when a semi-truck struck the Jeep and the victims.

Effie Carder was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Gilbert Jorden Jr. and the three minors reportedly suffered serious injuries and were transported to a hospital for treatment.
