Nine Injured in Car Accident on Highway 178 in El Paso, TX

El Paso, TX -- March 6, 2023, nine people were injured after an accident where vehicles crashed along Pete Domenici Highway.

Investigators said the incident happened outside of Sunland Park near the Santa Teresa state line. Right now, the cause remains unclear. A crash involving a rollover occurred along the highway, sending at least nine people to the hospital. Some apparently had serious injuries.

Authorities did not give any additional details, and that could be a testament to just how complex this crash is. Folks would be surprised to see just how much can go into what may otherwise seem like a typical car wreck. Without careful attention and proper tools and training, important information can easily slip through the cracks. A lot of people are no doubt in need of answers after this crash. Hopefully authorities have the time and ability to make sure they get those answers.
