I certainly can't shed any light on this beyond what's already known to the public. However, I have seen enough accidents involving cyclists throughout my career to know how crucial it is authorities are thorough in their investigations. Frankly, I see too many situations where pedestrians, motorcyclists, cyclists, scooter riders, and others not in a standard vehicle don't get the benefit of the doubt. That sort of thinking can lead to important details slipping through the cracks, so my hope is that authorities here are being more thorough so the victim's loved ones can get the answers they deserve.
