Darion Nelson Injured in Truck Accident in Chambers County, TX

Chambers County, TX — February 20, 2023, Darion Nelson was injured in a collision with a commercial truck around 5:51 a.m. on F.M. 565 in Chambers County.

Officials report Darion Nelson's Chevy Impala was eastbound on F.M. 565 when a Peterbilt semi-truck failed to yield the right of way and attempted a turn into the Impala's lane of traffic. The impact reportedly forced Darion Nelson's Impala to spin counterclockwise, leave the roadway, and drive into a ditch.

Darion Nelson purported suffered serious injuries, and the semi-truck driver was reportedly uninjured.
