One Injured in Alleged Wrong-Way Accident in Pierce County, WA

Pierce County, WA — March 7, 2023, one person was injured in an alleged wrong-way collision with a semi-truck on Interstate 5 in Pierce County.

Crash investigators allege a passenger vehicle was driving the wrong way on I-5 when it collided head-on with a semi-truck. The force of the impact reportedly caused the semi-truck to erupt into flames.

One person was injured, but authorities have not released who was injured or the severity of the injuries.
