Driver Killed in Car Accident in Tye, TX

Tye, TX — February 28, 2023, a driver was killed in an apparent single-vehicle rollover crash around 8 a.m. on Interstate 20 in Tye.

Officials report a vehicle on I-20 left the road in a rollover accident and caught fire. First responders attempted CPR on the driver, but the driver was later pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and there are no further updates at this time.
