Austin, TX — March 5, 2023, one person was injured in a car accident around 3 p.m. at East 51st St and Airport Blvd. in Austin.

Officials report a person was seriously injured when their vehicle crashed and caught fire. The driver was transported to a local hospital with reportedly life-threatening injuries.
