Louie Bell Russell Killed in Motorcycle Accident in Henderson County, TX

I certainly don't know more about this awful event than what's already available to the public. However, I've handled many accidents involving motorcyclists, and there's insight I try to offer any time I see incidents like this.

Put simply, most motorcyclists are safe drivers who are as responsible if not more responsible than typical motorists. Yet time and time again, people will automatically blame motorcyclists or take details blaming them at face value that they would otherwise be more skeptical of if similar claims were made about them or someone they loved. A family shouldn't have to worry about bias affecting the story when they deserve answers about what happened to their loved one, which is why I hope authorities here have similar experiences and understand the importance of being unbiased. At the end of the day, it's best the evidence be allowed to speak for itself, whatever the end result may be.
