Three Injured in School Bus, Truck Accident in Scott County, IA

Scott County, IA — March 6, 2023, two drivers and one student were injured in a truck accident around 8:41 a.m. on 130th St in Scott County.

Officials report a school bus with 9 students aboard was westbound on 130th st. The bus allegedly stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of 130th st and 110th then collided with a semi-truck while continuing through the intersection. Officials say the driver of the semi-truck attempted an evasive action and overturned onto the passenger side.

The driver of the school bus, the driver of the semi-truck, and one student were transported to a local hospital with reportedly non-life-threatening injuries.
