Ronald Leroy Heiston Jr. Killed in Truck Accident in Frederick, MD

Frederick, MD — March 4, 2023, Ronald Leroy Heiston Jr. was killed in a tanker truck accident around noon on U.S. Hwy. 15 in Frederick.

Crash investigators report Ronald Leroy Heiston Jr.'s tanker truck overturned while driving northbound on U.S. Hwy. 15 when it struck a tree, rolled over off of the highway onto Apple Ave., and then caught fire.

Ronald Leroy Heiston Jr. suffered fatal injuries, and while no other injuries were reported, three homes and several vehicles also caught fire.

The accident is still being investigated, and there are no further updates at this time.
